The Proverbs Project 1/31

As a school project, I chose to read the book of Proverbs. I will be giving a brief overview of each chapter.

Proverbs Chapter One
Proverbs Chapter 1 talks about the results of rejecting wisdom, and it warns you to not be violent.

Chapter 1 says that wisdom is calling for the foolish and the scorners, but they don't care. They don't wanna change, they wanna stay the same, ignorant.

It also warns that when you try to take matters into your own hands and make others suffer, you end up suffering. It also says that the sinners and the evil spirits try to get you to come with them and partake in the "fun stuff", but it just ends up being trouble.

My favorite verse in Chapter 1 is Proverbs 1:7                                 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

What's Been Keeping Me Busy.....

Sorry, but I have been to busy to post lately.Yeah, Yeah, I know what your thinking, to busy to post, huh? Well I've been working on keeping a journal, I've started a news-paper, I've been helping my mom with Sister Stacy's wedding, I've been keeping up with 3 pets(that is not very easy to do), and I've been playing in Gnoyo. I've also been preparing for the church talent-show which I will later post about. The day before
yesterday I visited a nearby nursing-home whith some friends, we sang, and Bro.Jimmy preached a bit.

Seeing Through Different Eyes.....

About two weeks ago, my parents and eye doctor agreed that it would be OK for me to try contact lenses. The rules were:
  • I have to remove my own lenses every night
  • I have to properly clean and store my lenses
  • I have to put them in by myself every day
I PASSED THE TEST!

I love my new contact lenses. Once they are in I don't even notice that they are there. I can see better and I don't have to worry about my glasses falling off when I play. Not to mention, I won't have to lose half the skin off my nose due to my glasses scraping my face when I fall.

I also got a new pair of glasses, but they will be spending most of their time at home.
We decided it was best to have a pair handy, in case my eyes get irritated, or I decide I want to read a book before I go to sleep.
